Pocket Money Honey — Pure Cornish Heather Honey
Discover the taste of West Cornwall with Pocket Money Honey — a beautiful, pure Cornish Heather Honey produced from carefully selected hives at a single apiary on a private farm near St Ives.
There is a lovely story behind this special honey. The apiary is situated on the farm belonging to the son of renowned author Rosamunde Pilcher, whose deep connection with Cornwall is reflected in the landscape and character of the area.
Pocket Money Honey gets its name from the young beekeeper behind it — a son learning from his father, the fascinating craft of beekeeping, from caring for the bees through to harvesting and producing his own delicious honey. What began as a way of earning a little pocket money has grown into a wonderful celebration of Cornwall, bees and the natural environment.
The honey comes from selected hives at this one special apiary, where the bees forage amongst the rich Cornish countryside and heather. The result is a gorgeous Cornish Heather Honey, full of the distinctive character and natural flavour that makes heather honey so sought after.
Every jar carries a little piece of West Cornwall — the wild landscape, the heather-covered countryside and the hard work of the bees and their young keeper.
Pure Cornish honey. One special place. One young beekeeper. A very special jar of Pocket Money Honey.
